WELCOME TO ASMEDA
Dr. J. D. Usman (Chairman)
I consider it a great honor and indeed a privilege to be trusted with the office of the chairman of the Association of Specialist Medical Doctors in Academics (ASMEDA), also known as MEDSABAM, Sokoto State chapter. Although our association is relatively young, the contribution by members to medical education, medical training, research, and community service is enormous.
I would like to use this opportunity to thank all members for their support, sacrifices, commitments, and endurance towards our common goal thus far. At this juncture, I wish to extend our sincere appreciation to the immediate past executive of ASMEDA Sokoto and the National Executive of ASMEDA for all their struggles for the good of our members.
We, the executive, understand the challenges and hurdles before us as ASMADITES. With God's help, we shall overcome them all.
Finally, I wish to congratulate us all for being happy, committed, and optimistic in our chosen career path as medical doctors. I pray for God’s infinite mercy, continuous guidance, and protection throughout our life.
